Sharing rare intimate film footage for the first time, Lostboycrow reveals a bare bones performance of ‘Nobody Knows’ – a track taken off the recently released ‘First Legend’ (one of three collections that will eventually culminate in a whole album) – as part of a series called the “At The Window Sessions”.
Replacing the easygoing ’80s-nodding production of the original with natural ambience and a whole new level of wow factor, courtesy of Lostboycrow’s exposed vocal range. This acoustic arrangement flaunts the track in its best light: spotlighting the lyrics in an absorbing and focussed manner to bring the message of devotion and togetherness into the fore.
It’s clear that with every new step Lostboycrow takes, the realisation is that we really can’t pigeonhole this artist into any specific bracket of creation – there are no limits and the talent is boundless. Like it should be. The lyrics actually capture how we feel perfectly: “Just when I’d thought that I’d seen it all / There you are.” For now, we have this slice of joy to keep us company in the wait until the next Legend, so play it back ’til your hearts content because I can tell you now, we definitely will be.
