Indie poppers San Cisco return in blazing technicolor with disco-stomper ‘SloMo’. The single preps news of the band’s third album which will see release sometime this year.
In typical San Cisco fashion, the track describes the realities of young love (from obsession to misadventure) set to a uber slick beat and syrupy grooves, the glossy production defuses any sour outcomes and easily dissolves into lighthearted pomp.
So take a breather and watch the 70’s-inspired video clip for a minute or two, it’s worth it simply to witness Jordi, Scarlett and co. boogieing down in tandem. The Fremantle foursome never quit delivering great pop music from their very own pocket of sunshine on the Australian coast, and as long as they keep sharing their glistening indie gems, we’ll keep on listening.
