MUSORELIEF: A Bitter Sweet Symphonies Online Festival

Bitter Sweet Symphonies was founded on the basis of two elements: music and community. The want (but more accurately, the need) to share good music with more than just oneself, to foster a collective space in order to start conversations, to spread the word about underground gems and celebrate this communal medium.

In a time of global crisis and uncertainty, now more than ever, it seems, music is being called upon as an essential source of relief, connection and companionship. We’ve always valued artists and their art as number one, here at Bitter Sweet Symphonies, that’s why we decided it was time to pitch in and offer our platform to help. Thus, musorelief was born.

A group of musicians rallying together online for a day of music-filled celebration and giving. The premise is simple: Ten acts, ten sets, one stream, all for one pertinent cause. We chose to raise funds for musicians, specifically, because they’re the ones who fill our pages, they’re the ones who create the music, they’re the ones we watch on stage night after night, they’re the ones who inspire us, teach us, lift us up, entertain us, take us on journeys to different worlds. They are the reason this blog exists.

Now, it’s about time that I tell you all the relevant details so you know when and where to tune in.
