Chaz Thorogood unveils his latest offering, ‘Four Walls’ – a gentle and refreshing folk track released via Beatnik Creative.
The Devon-based musician’s free spirit has palpably infiltrated his music creating a dreamlike soundscape; and in support of this, ‘Four Walls’ takes an unobtrusive journey meandering seamlessly between gradually unfolding melodies and mellow finger-picking.
Described as somewhere between Ryan Adams and Ben Howard, Thorogood surprisingly carves out his own tender-sounding niche, a somewhat ghostly gentility that acts as a beautiful palette cleanser for the ears.
‘Four Walls’ infuses folk song stylings alongside emotive multi-layer harmonies guided by Thorogood’s raspy vocals. The spacious undercurrent of acoustic guitar chords and gentle percussion unravel as the beautifully-crafted record reaches an atmospheric crescendo.
‘Four Walls’ leads the release of Chaz Thorogood’s upcoming EP ‘Limbo’, due out on May 19th 2017.
