David Liversidge has always been the heart and soul of the Manchester live circuit, in our eyes. Rapidly building up a strong reputation around the city for his unrelenting work ethic and heartfelt, sincere folk-pop songs. After realising late last year that he was aiming for a new musical style, Liversidge decided to switch lanes and mould a fresher, bolder sound, and thus, LiVVO was born.

He started working with local producer Paddy Mohan, which is when it all started to become clear. The new sound began to emerge. Sharp, electronically driven backing tracks that encapsulate a zeitgeisty ambience. While Liversidge’s timeless, heart-on-sleeve lyricism provides the substance that his music has become synonymous with.

‘You’ will be released on 7th March, co-insiding with a single launch party at Manchester’s Night & Day Cafe. Tickets are available here.
