INTRODUCING: The Hubbards – ‘Pin’

Leeds/Hull indie pop outfit The Hubbards may be a band that I’ve just come across, but immediately after listening to a couple of their tracks, I have to say, I’m impressed.

Sharp bursts of surging guitars, soaring percussion and rousing vocals make it impossible not to fall in love this band in the blink of an eye. The band’s new single ‘Pin’ is another strong single from the band, the song goes through the erratic rush of being in love: “I love you / I hate you / I need you”. Melodically, the rhythm matches this sentiment. If you want to catch up with the band’s previous releases then head over to their bandcamp page, and while you’re there why not grab a few free downloads? Sounds good to me. Watch the music video for ‘Pin’ below.

‘Pin’ will be available to download from 2nd Feb 2015 from the band’s website.
