The Watchmakers release ‘To Be Part Of You’ on limited edition mint green cassette from 1st December via Blak Hand Records, alongside B-Side ‘Kimnara’. Mesmerising sonics and kaleidoscopic grooves flare together to make one dreamy track from the Manchester band.
After a couple of seconds into ‘To Be Part Of You’ it’s clear that this band aren’t messing around. Big 60’s inspired psych grooves beckon you into their world, to loose yourself to the music and dance all your cares away. ‘To Be Part Of You’ is a sensual assault on the optics, stimulating hazy daydreams of wide open spaces and whirling images. It’s escapism. It’s powerful. And most importantly, it’s damn right dizzying.
Saturday 29th November will see The Watchmakers playing Manchester Psych Fest at Night and Day Cafe, some tickets are still available from here but hurry be quick there’s not many left.
