Song of the Week

SONG OF THE WEEK: Sean O’Neill – ‘Carried In The Wind’

As the sun sets on another day and the days get shorter as we head into the winter months, sometimes we need some musical comfort to warm us up inside and give us strength. The answer to this comes in the form of Sean O’Neill’s uplifting new single ‘Carried In The Wind’.

‘Carried In The Wind’ is a stirring and bright alt-folk track that see’s O’Neill further experiment and grow as an artist as he brings us one more piece of the puzzle from his forthcoming EP.

Sonically this track is so pleasing on the ears that it will make you wish it had been in your life sooner. With the percussive and brass overtones taking centre stage, the track breathes with a airy atmospheric sense of pride. The lyrics underpin a feeling of longing and memory and we are transported to a world without worry, without care, just safety and warmth.

‘Carried In The Wind’ is taken from the forthcoming ‘Visions’ EP out 20th October.
