Dreamy Danish pop beauties Puppy Loop have really made an impact with the visuals for their latest single ‘No Romanic.’ Encapsulating all elements of ego and vanity, with a little sprinkling of what we all love to do (secretly) and that is to pretend we’re in a music video.
The song is casual, non offensive, a petit Suisse after an unhealthy fry up. Yes, they may echo those ’80s sounds of The Cure but they also dip into the sonically effortless breeze of The Drums, which believe me, is a good thing.
The song delivers lyrically, saying what it needs to and I can’t get it out of my head, even despite its slight monotonous sound (but isn’t that the point?).
I’m eager to hear more from the Danish duo.
