London indie garage-punks Childcare are a devilish delight, only two tracks make up their online presence as it stands but this is soon to change in the new year, upon release of a brand spakin’ new EP, due out via Lost in the Manor Records. In a series of snaps captured by Wolf James at a recent show, we glimpse Childcare pre-gig as they prepare to take to the stage opening for electro-pop heroes Bastille at Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena (or the NIA as it’s better known).
The intimate candid’s act as a photo journal, depicting their day from dawn till dusk – from waking to backstage encounters and ushering through warm-up regimes – without giving too much away, it’s clear that the band certainly have a tonne of fun on tour. Putting that vicarious zingy energy to good use, Childcare finish up the night with a rollicking show and we bid adieu until next time.
Childcare’s new single ‘Film Club’ is available now on Lost in the Manor Records.
