Track of the Day

TRACK OF THE DAY: TRASH – ‘Give Up’

Chesterfield pop-rockers TRASH are back with brand new track ‘Give Up’, following last year’s superb Urban Glow EP.

‘Give Up’ is a touch on lust and teenage frolics. Meandering around  a guy who’s clearly tossing a coin in his head on the efforts of pushing and pulling with love summed up adequately with lyrics; “She’s getting sick and tired of you, if you don’t give a fuck someone else will.”

With just two years experience crafting their trade, TRASH still have some way to go in order to coax in a following, but nevertheless their pop writing style is workable.

This track is sharp in places and confused in others. Whether or not that was the intention for the band is to be known, however, their gritty desire is something that will prick the ears of some.

TRASH have opted to give away the single for free to anyone who signs up to their mailing list.
