VIDEO PREMIERE: The Loose Cut – ‘Come Around’

The Loose Cut are ambitious. Their sound cuts through the noise, it’s a thunderous call to the heavy rock of QOTSA. Unforgettable and wonderfully intense, the four piece are here to make their presence known.

Premiering below are the accompanying visuals for the Leeds rockers new single ‘Come Around’. A skeletal landscape opens to the bunch – dusty and aggravated – as we follow the booze-soaked tale about a cheating-ex to exhilarating heights in remarkable cinematic formation.

‘Come Around’ tells of a stumble – the title may all too easily suggest of a reconciliation but undeniably it is cut by betrayal – like in all tales, there are lessons to be learned, and this one is learned bitterly. Singer, George Fayle is candid in his lyrics, revealing his all-too-true confessions of the broken love affair. Matched with blunt snarls, jagged riffs, tumultuous bass and repeating refrains, the track is heavy in rhythm but sharp in its cathartic release. This is one for all the scorned lovers out there. Turn it up.

The Loose Cut will be supporting White Lung on Saturday 28th May at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. Tickets are available here.

‘Come Around’ is available now for digital download on iTunes here.
