In recent years, Leeds has become a burgeoning hub of bands that look like they could be on the horizon of huge things – Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses, Brawlers, to name but a few.
It is no secret that the live music scene in the West Yorkshire City of Leeds is one of real envy from around the UK. Up-and-coming bands always seem to forge a relationship with the city that is steeped in tradition of musical greatness. So when a band is forged within the epicentre of a great scene, the leg up must surely be felt.
Indie-psych four piece Chaika are looking to exploit this advantage with their sometimes thrashed-up rollercoaster of-a-ride single ‘I Fall’. The Peace like riffs float through the track, while only accentuating the allure of lead singer Joe Evans mysteriously cooling vocals.
