Philadelphia based ‘sedative-wave/smooth-fi’ outfit, Work Drugs, have unveiled their latest work ‘Chase the Night’. It’s the lead single from their new album ‘Louisa’ due out this summer. A seductively nocturnal wonderment of synth pop.
The bass throbs, vocal laments soar and synthesized beats pierce. Visual and fragrant with longing ‘Chase the Night’ is addictive as the summer’s setting sky. The track may appear all unassuming in it’s lo-fi glory but hell, does it haunt you afterwards.
