Pooltheory, is an artist that is relatively unknown at the time we’re writing this but his début track ‘The Dreamer’ gives us complete clarity. A sleepy, midnight getaway that recalls the melody-driven alt-pop of Woods.
Not many songs can instantly gravitate to the heights that ‘The Dreamer’ soars to. Simply formed but effectively delivered. It’s lo-fi, dreamy soundscape latches on those old heartstrings and tugs at them until you’ve fallen head over heels in love. Central to its allure is the intensity and visceral connection of its lulling vocal delivery. Stunning.
