Yorkshire’s fiercest indie band are finally back. Yes, you heard it right! One Night Only dropped their new single ‘Get Around To It’ this morning and what a delight it is.
After being away for what feels like an eternity, making their latest record and third album, it’s good to finally hear something new from the boys. ‘Get Around To It’ is a slight departure from what we’ve heard from ONO in the past, but we’re not complaining at all.
The track is a sonic introduction to the new era of this band, arguably taking some definite influence from their contemporaries Foster the People and The 1975. ‘Get Around To It’ is loaded with tight grooves, blatantly honest lyrics and gloriously infectious indie pop rhythms.
‘Get Around To It’ is out now, along with b-side ‘Erase’. The single is available digitally or alternatively, you can purchase two limited edition signed vinyl’s here.
One Night Only will be playing a special gig with support from The Van Doos on Saturday 6th December at The Sebright Arms, London. Tickets available here.
