Bristol based psych guitar band, TOWNS, have just dropped the first taster from their forthcoming début record, Get By, earlier today. The track is called Marbles and it’s three and a half minutes of unashamedly 90s inspired guitar pop, grunge bliss.
TOWNS are just the shot of adrenaline to kick-start a musical revolution, with elements of psych and shoegaze laden in their sound as well, TOWNS seem to have perfected the perfect balance between genres and have created a sound that’s uniquely their own. Marbles with its sizzling bass lines, manic guitar riffs, supercharged drums and hushed vocals that charge with simmering intensity, it has all the glamour and pride that we’ve come to expect from a TOWNS track. You can pre-order their début record here on either CD or vinyl, out 2nd June.
