SONG OF THE WEEK: Sisters – ‘Hush Hush’

Irish trio, Sisters, are soaring to new heights with each new release, Hush Hush marks the next step for the band. It being their first major release with the indie record label, Just Off Pop. They are making it look so easy to nail the perfect song, scratch that anthem, easily cementing them as ones to watch in 2014, I highly tip them to be the next big breakout band.

Aoife’s vocals are as light as a feather, the perfect compliment to guitarist Niall’s angsty vocals. Hush Hush is a delicious, three and a half minutes of pure dreamy grunge pop bliss. They bring 90s punk grunge to today’s music scene, and it feels just right. The song swirls and drags you into their world, a dreamy world of raging guitars, heavenly harmonies and a wave of sound that melts on your ears, so hypnotic that you’ll be eating out of their hands in no time. Hush Hush will be released on 2nd December via Just Off Pop Records. Be sure to pick up a copy, I know will.
