Swansea born, London based trio, Trampolene are storming the gig circuit right now here in the UK. If you’re a fan of bands such as The Sea or The Libertines, then Trampolene are the band for you.
Definite nods to The Black Keys and Kasabian come through in the song featured below, You Do Nothing For Me, Trampolene establish themselves solely as the new IT band to watch. But it has to be re-iterated that this is only one side to this band, expect gritty, dirty bass lines; fuzzy riffs; high octane energy from the get-go; grisly, ferocious vocals and a wall-to-wall explosion of sound. Sounds good to me.
They’ve been receiving plenty of airplay recently from the likes of Radio 1 and Xfm, and they’ve been creating quite a frenzy with their live shows, currently supporting The Weeks on their UK tour and with a string of This Feeling gigs coming up next month, it’s just a matter of time before they break through to the mainstream. For a full list of tour dates see below.
They have a new single on the way very soon, out 25th November to be precise, entitled Under the Strobe Light which comes with b-side, My Bourgeoisie Girl. If you were to buy the single on iTunes, it comes with 2 extra bonus tracks also which make up the Under the Strobe Light EP.
