SONG OF THE WEEK: Betty Who – ‘You’re In Love’

Betty Who (aka. Jessica Anne Newham) is an Australian born singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist, who is now based in New York. She is currently burning up the airwaves with her indie pop, its 80’s synth pop perfection. Her début EP, The Movement, was released back in April and has since garnered rave reviews from the media and fans alike.

You’re in Love taken from her début EP, is a stunning pop reverie packed with luscious sun soaked, magical synths and floaty keyboard musings. This track is a great introduction to Betty Who, if you are unfamiliar with her work, as I myself have just miraculously discovered her music today, and what a joy it is. You’re in Love features a massive chorus, that’s just as sweet as the moment you fall in love, the atmospherics on the track just add more beauty to the song, it’s like a ray of light. Her vocals are euphoric and have the sweetness you need to hear in pop song. You’re in Love is a beautiful track, that you need in your life.
