SONG OF THE WEEK: Titanics – ‘Low Frames’

Titanics are a duo from Albany, New York, who are rapidly gaining attention and a strong following and deservedly so. Not to mention, that they are also featured as part of Mercedes Benz ‘Best New Talent’ mixtape this month, well done boys. They say that their music is for ‘insomniacs and dreamers alike’, which is the perfect description for their sound, dreamy and magical, delicate and beautiful. But catchy as they come. They make sweet indie pop tunes and melodic instrumentals, which are the definition of tranquil, they make synth pop so cool.

Their latest single, Low Frames, is a beautifully mellow track, that could easily sit in the 80’s with it’s surfing guitars and delectable beats. It just sweeps you away and firmly places you on the beach, away from your worries and comfortably serene. The song cries out for a hot, summers day, it soothes you like a cool breeze, and takes you to the ocean. Have a listen to the track below. Low Frames comes from Titanics début album, Soft Treasure, which you can download here.
