Introducing

INTRODUCING: Wolf & Cub

Wolf & Cub have been around for over a decade now, so why is it that I only come to find them now you ask? It’s a matter of timing and knowledge. It’s always amazing to find a band that have been chugging away for so long, but when you come across them they are completely new to you and you wonder why you hadn’t heard of them sooner. Wolf & Cub are one of those bands.

Having been together since 2002, they are just about to release their third studio album, Heavy Weight, out 13th September, which proves so far to be a real gem of a record. They are completely self funded and free from the shackles of a record label as they go into this next chapter of their band, making it even more important to spread the word about this band. Have a listen below and see what you think.

The first two releases off Heavy Weight are Salao and I Need More, which are both worthy lead singles. Salao is a driving force, the track features a magical mash up of rock psychedelica with a strong bass line, simmering and pulsing guitars, crashing drums and a vocal that just echoes in your mind.  Wolf & Cub are the real deal.

I Need More is a track that has a lot of groove. It is a stunner. Armed with fuzzy guitar riffs and some solid cowbell hitting, I Need More is everything you could want and more. Wolf & Cub are so much more than your average band, they are simply magnificent, masters of sound and they are pretty awesome lyricists too.
