INTRODUCING: Little Brother Eli

Little Brother Eli is the product of Alex Grew and Josh Rigal, who describe the band as their “musical love child”, with additional help from Linus Taylor, Adam Stowe and Benji Page, they make up Little Brother Eli. Hailing from Oxford, they make the most unique blues rock that I’ve ever heard, they meld the genres perfectly together to make something that’s just mind-numbingly good.

Simplicity is not their style, it’s either go all out or go home for these guys. Their bluesy rock is breaking boundaries, there is no one else like Little Brother Eli and that is a fact. They have heaps of soul in their music and passion that shines through immediately, with their drive and musical precision they are sure to be on everybody’s radar soon enough.

Their début self-titled EP, which came out in May, is packed full with groovy blues melodies and catchy hooks, all packaged together to keep the raw essence of their music at the forefront, essentially it’s the heart of what makes them so special and so unique. Distinct vocals and lyrics that could rival that of fellow blues masters, Turrentine Jones. The EP features three expertly crafted tracks, which not only grab your attention immediately but also have that defining characteristic that makes Little Brother Eli so powerful in my opinion, that being they are talented musicians and they actually are passionate about the music they produce. They are just the band to shake things up in the music industry right now. Check out their début EP here and enjoy.
