Indoor Pets power up on the cherryade and candyfloss, and head down to the seafront, hitting the bullseye with fuzzy thrill ride ‘Teriyaki’. The sweet noisy nugget catches the band sounding more energised than ever, with singer Jamie Glass rattling off his catchiest hook to date: “I’m lost within my morals/ And I can’t remember who I was before.”
It’s starting to feel like the underground buzz surrounding these fun-harbingers is close to breaking point, enough so to spill over into a larger boiling pot of famed existence. After recent tours with VANT and Spring King, and a summer filled with festivals, it does seem like Indoor Pets are gearing up to take it to the next level. With their debut album looming ever closer and each new taste of tangy-sweet guitar-pop bouncing on into our homes and hearts, there’s never been a better time to be named Indoor Pets.
‘Teriyaki’ will be released digitally on 2nd September, via Bon Nudity. But if vinyl is more your thing, the 7″ will be released on 30th September, via Unlabel.
