Kent based three-piece, Inevitable Daydream are making their formative steps into the world with their debut single ‘Brown Acid’. It’s a scuzzed-up barrage of rumbling bass and mind-tearing riffs.
The song was recorded with Theo Verney at Brighton’s Church Road Studios, and in accordance with his adrenaline-soaked, psych daydreams, the Kent band also find within themselves a furrowed drive to create a sound that is primarily psychedelic and fused with rougher textures.
‘Brown Acid’ is a sonic implosion of youthful abandon, self-possessed with a darker energy that swallows the listener whole, and it is meant to be enjoyed at full volume. For a band that are only on their first offering, ‘Brown Acid’ is an adamant statement of intent, promising a thrilling ride.
