Welsh-French folk pop charmers Shake Shake Go have demolished our hearts with the beautiful romance of their new single ‘England Skies’. Flourishing and growing in a crescendoing-like fashion, we fell in love with their liberating sound instantly.
Singer, Poppy Jones leads the way with her warm, honey-like croon lying softly atop a gentle guitar melody. Inflections of percussion ebb and flow, while sumptuous vocal harmonies prompt flashbacks to hazy, summer days. It’s songs like ‘England Skies’ that leave you breathless in amazement at the power music can hold on you as a listener, all the while rousing joy and happiness in your heart. It’s a beautiful thing.
