SONG OF THE WEEK: Hannah Georgas – ‘Enemies’

Like fellow Canadian Feist has done before her, Hannah Georgas is making her mark on the industry as we speak. Quickly sweeping up prestigious accolades, recently having her track, Millions, featured in an episode of HBO’s mega hit show, GIRLS and having her latest album named ‘Album of the Week’ by Sunday Times Culture. Hannah is currently supporting Canada’s very own, City and Colour, on their huge worldwide tour across the UK and Europe, 2014 is already off to a great start for this young Canadian pop sensation.

Her latest single, Enemies, which is out now, is a warm, colourful pop track that swells with emotion and cuts you deep with it’s rich textures and lyricism. With it’s minimal electronics, swelling, glistening pop notes and Georgas sweet, honey-like vocals, what’s not to like about this track? If that’s not enough, you can pick up a copy of her self-titled album now and don’t forget to catch her back on UK shores when she plays The Great Escape festival this May.
