Tom Odell, you might know now as the recipient of this years Critics Choice award at The Brits, and rightly so, he’s a great new talent and I think 2013 will be a big year for him. Already, he is set to play SXSW, which proves to be a big turning point and platform for any musicians career.
With songs like Another Love and Hold Me, already getting airplay and critical acclaim, the sky’s the limit for this London based singer-songwriter. Armed with just a piano, he can produce some of the most beautiful melodies I’ve ever heard and with a vocal range that’s nothing less than spectacular, he is the real deal. His music encompasses the beauty and frailty of love and life, his songs are filled with emotion, through the lyrics themselves and his voice being so heartbreakingly beautiful, making for the perfect combination.
His début album, Long Way Down, is out 15th April 2013, but it’s available to pre-order right now and his new single, Hold Me, is available to download from 31st March.
