The shimmering and all-powerful psych of The Vryll Society continues on the experimental Liverpool group’s latest single ‘Self Realization’. Signed to Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Zutons), the Kraut pop collective immerse the listener with another cathartically potent release. For fans of The Verve to Stone Roses and The Horrors, The Vryll Society combines the charm of indie melody with the unreeling experimental vibrancy of psychedelia.
Following the release of the Pink Floyd-esque ‘Deep Blue Skies’ and enchanting EP ‘Pangea’, new single ‘Self Realization’ bursts a further colourful whirl. “Silent revolution, self realization…” coolly hums Mike Ellis’ soul stimulating vocals, as a cascade of guitars transcends the listener into tranquillity. Skilful instrumentation illustrates the bands absorbing character in a flawless dream. With committed magnetism, The Vryll Society continues to burn a mystifying flare.
